Lille have denied rumours that striker Divock Origi is set for a move to Liverpool in January.
The Belgium international is currently on loan at Lille until the end of the season, having being sent straight back to the Ligue 1 club by Liverpool after they signed him in the summer for £10million.
However, reports this week had suggested that Liverpool were looking to end Origi's loan deal in January and integrate him into the Liverpool squad ahead of schedule.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has already revealed he wanted to 20-year-old to join the club immediately in the summer and is believed to be keen to strengthen his attacking options, with new signing Mario Balotelli still settling in after his return to the Premier League.
But now Lille's club director Jean-Michel Vandamme has revealed that there is no chance of Origi leaving for Liverpool in January.
"It's impossible. He'll stay here until June," Vandamme told Sky Italia.
